Is there a ST2-docker branch for ubuntu:bionic?

Based on this:

https://docs.stackstorm.com/install/u18.html#system-requirements

Want also a more current container

No, but we would appreciate pull requests that update the containers to use Ubuntu Bionic.

Exactly what @blag suggested.

The reality is that GitHub - StackStorm/st2-docker: Demo all-in-one Docker container for StackStorm project is not maintained by anyone. It still relies on Ubuntu Trusty 14.04 LTS which we just deprecated. And so we welcome new strong contributions there which will likely require rethinking the st2-docker codebase.

Check the GitHub - StackStorm/st2-docker: Demo all-in-one Docker container for StackStorm codebase and its issues/discussions around switching to new OS.

[WIP] Add ubuntu xenial base image by shusugmt · Pull Request #162 · StackStorm/st2-docker · GitHub is an example PR which was about to add support for Ubuntu Xenial. This should help to get an idea to get started with the prototyping.

From the other side, there is GitHub - StackStorm/st2-dockerfiles: StackStorm Community Dockerfiles (one-service-per-container) used to build and push images to the StackStorm registry, used in 'stackstorm-ha' K8s Helm chart project which is used by the K8s deployment. It’s currently based on ubuntu:xenial, but we’re planning switching to ubuntu:bionic soon.
